1. Kondisi Bangsa Indonesia Sebelum 1908 Bangsa Indonesia mengalami penjajahan sejak awal abad ke-15. Armada dagang Belanda di bawah pimpinan Cornelis de Houtman pada tahun 1596 berlabuh di Banten. Mulanya mencari barang dagangan atau rempah-rempah. Awal di mulanya penjajahan Belanda di Indonesia di mulai didirikannya VOC pada tanggal 20 Maret 1602.
